Hadis Ensafi (b. 1998, Tehran) is a multidisciplinary artist living and working in the UK. She holds an MFA in Fine Art from Birmingham School of Art. Her work explores themes of memory, identity, and hidden narratives, focusing on the quiet, often unspoken experiences that shape human life.

Working across drawing, textile, print, and installation, she employs materials such as woven tapestry, plaster, fabric, and hair to translate emotion, memory, and imagination into tangible forms. Her practice reflects on cycles of trauma and resilience, using repetition, abstract shapes, and layered materials to hold stories and emotions within the work.

Through surreal and abstract forms, her pieces suggest presence without literal depiction, inviting reflection on endurance, transformation, and the traces of experience carried across time. By emphasising process, form, and materiality, her work creates a space where the personal and collective meet, offering moments of contemplation and connection with the hidden layers of life.
